This podcast was instrumental in helping me make the choice to detox my environment! Since listening to this episode I've tried to eliminate as much fragrance as possible from the products I use in my home and in my beauty routine. 🤓

What's one thing you learned from this weeks episode?

What's one thing you plan to do in your life since listening to this weeks episode?

@Caroline I feel the same way! I think its a great introduction to non-toxic products... I always focus a lot on nutrition/working out and I really underestimated the importance of all these chemicals on our skin. I first listened to this s few months ago and it really changed how I thought about my personal care products. One thing I've started doing using is the EWG skin-deep database (which I didn't even know existed until I listened to this lol). So now as I run out of my personal care products I've been searching for new non-toxic options on EWG site and changing them over 1 by 1. I feel like it's a good method because its not too overwhelming, and you can just change one product at a time to be non-toxic. So far, I've changed my shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, face toner and moisturizer.

I've also started using Branch Basics for all my household cleaning. I was honestly skeptical of its cleaning ability because I always had used bleach to clean the bathroom and I was like how is this natural stuff going to compare? But I'm so happy with it. The concentrate and oxygen boost powder are all you need to clean everything!! And I even recently signed up for their subscription so I get the concentrate and oxygen boost delivered every 4-5 months and this covers laundry detergent, stain removal, bathroom cleaner, hand soap, all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner - I even use it to clean my water bottle.

One thing I do still want to learn more about is water filtration. I haven't quite got around to it but it might be worth it to invest in a high quality water filter - maybe reverse osmosis. If anyone has switched to a reverse osmosis or other filter and has recommendations please lmk!!
